WIC 101

What to Expect

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. We help pregnant women, breastfeeding women, postpartum women, and children under 5 stay healthy.

At your WIC appointments, a Nutrition Specialist can answer any questions you have about your family’s health and nutrition. We may check heights, weights, and iron levels. We can also help you find resources in the community.
