About

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program runs from June 1 to October 31. Eligible participants will receive vouchers to buy fresh Iowa-grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs at your local farmers’ market!

The Farmers Market Nutrition Program

2024 farmers’ market vouchers are in! Stop by any of our clinics during open hours to pick up vouchers.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The following participants are eligible for farmers’ market checks if they were active participants as of May 31 of the current year:
    • Pregnant women
    • Postpartum women
    • Breastfeeding women
    • Children 1 to 5 years
    • Infants 9 to 12 months

HOW IT WORKS

  • Eligible participants will receive $30 dollars for the farmers’ market season (June 1 – October 31).
  • Participants will receive six $5.00 vouchers.
  • Vouchers can only be used where the “Farmers’ Market Voucher Accepted Here” sign is posted. Find a Farmers’ Market Location. 
  • You can use more than one voucher at a time.
  • You will not receive cash back. Try to spend in $5.00 increments.
